    BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF SOCIAL STRATIFICATION AMONG HUMAN SKELETAL POPULATIONS FROM FEUDAL POLAND. THE MORPHOLOGICAL ASPECT. In the study, the metrical traits of 30 skeletal populations from 9/10-19 c. Poland were analized, using the multi-trait method of principal components. The study attempts to determine the nature and strength of the connection between a changing social structure and one of the factors which shaped it (i.e. urbanizatin) and the morphological picture of human groups.

    THE PROCESS OF BRACHYCEPHALIZATION IN POLAND IN THE FEUDAL PERIOD. The influence of the urbanisation and the accompanied changes of the social structure upon the process of brachycephaly in Poland was investigated. The sample consisted of 65 skeletal populations (about 5500 individuals from the feudal period 9th -19th century).

    AN EARLY MEDIAEVAL CEMETERY AT SOWINKI (MOSINA COMMUNE, POZNAŃ VOIVODESHIP) - ANTHROPOLOGICAL AND PALEODEMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS. This paper presents the results of anthropological examinations (morphological characteristics and paleodemographic analysis) of human bone remains (121 individuals) discovered in the cemetery at Sowinki (10th/11th century).
