Item Analiza i synteza systemu kanałów dystrybucji w ujęciu grafów przepływu sygnałów(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1978) Szromnik, AndrzejThe article deals with modelling as well as with an analysis of a system of commodity distribution channels when graphs of signals flows utilized. On the analogy of information transmission with the aid of communication channels a process of circulation of goods in production and turnover as well as in the sphere of consumption is considered as certain closed entirety, which is mutually conditioned. A simplified reflection of reality is created by a graph of commodity flow, in which curves present a physical circulation of commodities between economic subjects, and internal loops (feedbacks) are reflections of collecting commodities in a given element. Together with the very construction of a graph and its formal description, an attempt has been undertaken to reduce some elements in order to determine resultant capacity of the whole distribution system (the Mason's method) as well as of its particular channels. Such approach to the synthesis of a distribution channels system enables an appraisal of its functioning in definite time with the aid of the "output : input" relation, i.e. the relation "retail sales : production".Item Miasta jako centralne ośrodki rynku w Polsce południowo-wschodniej(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1985) Szromnik, AndrzejThe article is the discussion of the results of study of market spatial structure in the South-Eastern Poland in the cross-section of urban settlement units. The author adopts a premise that the structure is each time delimited by a system of spatial interactions between main centres of concentration of the socio-economic life. Identification of a hierarchical structure of cities on a base of main characteristics of developement of commercial activity became a leading trend in the studies. Utilisation of the "rank-size" rule to delimit hierarchicality of market centres structure was suggested on the background of the exhaustive statistical and cartographic description of the market area. On the ground of the classical rule of detail gravitation, the hypothetical areas of market influence of the voivodship cities of the South-Eastern Poland were delimited.Item Procesy i warunki kształtowania struktur rynku regionalnego(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1984) Szromnik, AndrzejThe article discusses theoretical questions related to a spatial structure of market in a regional scale. In the author's intentions the formation mechanism of hierarchical structural market arrangements has to be presented with all factors affecting trends and intensiveness of exchange processes in a spatial approach. The author's reasoning is founded on the assumption that a spatial structure of a market and relevant spheres of market influence corresponding to it as well as market limits of specific metropolitan districts are a resultant of a spatial distribution of population purchases in the whole examined area. Consequently mach attention was devoted to characterizing main causalities affecting location of purchases of individual consummers. An attempt at final ordering of the applied division of regional market with regard to a rank and a range of centers was one of the main tasks of the present article. The following were distinguished: regional markets, local markets and micromarkets i.e. community markets, as elements of the model market structure. The whole study is presented against the bacground of the present administrative division of the state and in a close relation to it.Item Struktura i prawidłowości rozwoju systemu punktów sprzedaży detalicznej w świetle reguł Zipfa, „Rank-size"(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1980) Szromnik, Andrzej; Kozak, UrszulaThe article has been devoted to analysis of structure of retail trading stations system in a settlement unit of urban type. A hypothesis has been put forward on allometric development of retail trading stations system similarly to the Rank-Size Zipf's rule. The rule is used in research on settlement system structure. Since the rule is not widely known in research concerning spatial and economic trading activities, it is presented in a more detailed way in the first part of the article. This part is additionally completed with considerations on possibilities of other uses of the size-sequence rule, above all in the sphere of research on transport, trade and services. Reasons for acceptation of a hypothesis on a close relation between sizes of particular trading stations and their sequence in a cummulative chain can be found in a fact that a specific retail trading stations system is influenced by two effedts, namely by powers concentrâting trading objects and by powers diffusing them. The system structure is then each time a compromise between interests of trading enterprises and interests of individual consumers. A theoretical hypothesis has been verified on the ground of empirical material characterizing the whole of retail trading stations in the city of Kraków in branch sections. A hyperbolic distribution of retail trade units has been confirmed. The distribution is more or less regular in particular sectors and branches.
