Problematyka podjęta w tekstach naukowych to stricte globalny dyskurs nad temporalną wielowymiarowością społeczeństwa współczesnego oraz kondycją człowieka współczesnego, żyjącego w wieloznacznej i ambiwalentnej rzeczywistości globalnej, skazanego na szukanie swojego miejsca w ciągle na nowo konstruowanej wielokulturowej rzeczywistości. Globalna ekumena kulturowa determinuje również niekonwencjonalny namysł nad edukacją w warunkach globalnych. Współczesny dyskurs nad jakością edukacji, uwzględniający wielość kontekstów społeczno-kulturowych zmian zachodzących w świecie, powinien sprzyjać umiejętności planowania działań oświatowych na rzecz kształtowania prorozwojowego społeczeństwa ogólnoświatowego, Warunkiem sine qua non będzie więc zrozumienie istoty transformacji odbywającej się w przestrzeni edukacyjnej. Zamieszczone teksty mają stanowić przyczynek do namysłu i zaproszenie do dyskusji na temat uczestnictwa jednostek w kulturze globalnej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozważań nad konieczną ewolucją edukacji w warunkach globalnych.
Problems tackled in the scientific papers included in the magazine are being put in a strictly global discourse over a temporal multidimensionality of contemporary society and the condition of the modern man, who’s living in a ambiguous and ambivalent global reality, forced to search for his place in a continuously constructed multicultural reality. A global cultural ecumene determines also an unconventional view on education in global conditions. Modern discourse over the quality of education, including the multiplicity of socio-cultural contexts of changes occurring in the world should favor the ability to design educational actions for the shaping of a pro-developmental society sharing a general education. Therefore a sine qua non condition should be an understanding of the essence of the transformation taking place in the educational field. Papers included, shall contribute to a general reflection and be simultaneously an invitation to a discussion on the participation of individuals in global culture, with a special emphasis on remarks over a necessary evolution of education in global conditions.

Item Ciało, moda i tozsamosc kobiety epoki wiktorianskiej – dyskursy piekna i przemocy(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Gromkowska-Melosik, AgnieszkaThe article is devoted to the analysis of the dominant ideal of beauty in the Victorian period. The author defi nes mechanisms of repression and symbolic violence over the body of the Victorian upper-class woman, connected with the phenomenon of social control over the woman’s body and identity. The author assumes that the desire to achieve physical beauty has always been a source of a biographical experience that was constitutive for a woman, a source of a separate identity for her in comparison with a man. The historical changes of the ideals of the beautiful body are expressive of the complex interactions between the social roles of women and the dominant ideology of femininity as well as scientifi c and medical knowledge.Item Osoba po przeszczepieniu narządu doświadczająca jakości życia – jako przedmiot zainteresowań pedagogów(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Cymerman, IwonaPedagogy has been recently becoming more and more interdisciplinary, deriving from achievements of others humanities. In modern, complicated world it could be rather impossible not to bene t from such advantage, as it would push aside pedagogy and others elds of knowledge to margin, falling it back rather than giving them prospect of growth. That is why issue of organ transplantation, for instance, although it seems stricte medical problem, now expands area of pedagogy interests. It concerns all the situations having signi cance in experiencing quality of life by the pedagogical entities, so pupils in each age. This text is based on description of experiencing life’s quality of one person, living thanks to liver transplantation. It had been 10 years after surgery when Zygmunt was giving me interview. I hold a second conversation with him, as earlier he had been exchanging with me his experiencing quality of life. For the rst time I met my interlocutor in September 2001, at that moment, he had been only three months after transplantation. Experiencing day–to day–reality of family, work, seeing with medical personnel during necessary consultation, this time were important for me. As a scientist I was interested also in changes that had been emerging and still appears in the context of quality life experiencing, from that moment when we had a rst conversation. Feeling of life sense, recognized values were signi cant for me. Quality analysis, having attributes of phenomenological description of experiencing Zygmunt’s quality life is often supplementing by medical, legal, ethical and religious data. I have done this, so that to in abbreviated way expose issues, shaping new research elds and new areas of educators’ activities in the context of transplantation. Zygmunt’s narrative is individual and for that reason it is not justi ed to make generalized conclusions. The first one, is a general approach, related to an universal meaning of the term. The second one, is a particular approach, based on taking/heading for understanding of freedom in plural terms. Both approaches might, but not necessary do, exclude each other. An alternative takes an interpretation of particular freedoms, which simultaneously excludes the existence of a universal freedom (and the other way around). On the other hand, conjunction, i.e. the examination of a universal freedom on the basis of analysis of particular freedoms and/or reconstruction of the term “freedom” on the basis of interpretations and meanings given to particular freedoms. As a follower of the idea of conjunction of both approaches, I’m analyzing in this paper the theoretical connotations of this term such as: the feeling of freedom, its limitations, responsibility, tolerance, auto-creation and self-realization. This politics is according to the author based on putting in the center of all educational actions the idea of diversity, as well in creating academic institutions. This key idea becomes in the American context a special significance, regarding the fact that the American society is based on ideology that celebrates multiculturalism and diversity as such. This article presents also an important for the contemporary situation in the United States problem of combining cultural and ethnic diversity on the economical category of difference between various classes. Furthermore, it seems to be more significant in the light of the economic crisis in recent years that affected also American education in the same extent.Item Uniwersytet i komercjalizacja. On one hand, the author analyzes such phenomena as the marketisation of academic knowledge, which becomes a “commodity for sale”, and scientists, because of the dependence of the big bussines are forced to give up their passion for seeking truth. Rap music, as one of the elements of hip hop culture, is a kind of special innovation for its audience. With rising interest for this musical genre and hip hop culture the discussion on formulating the issues through the prism of rap music’s message has been increasing. The article presents certain aspects of making sense to the reality, which surrounds young artists, as well as some attempts at interpretation of already formulated social messages and their content. On one hand, the content is presented as a piece of announcement or message, which expresses young generation identity through the music. On the other hand, the content is a kind of confrontation between young audience and various messages presented in particular piece of music. In the article various hip hop productions are analyzed. The analysis is based on objective attitude towards the problem and presents both positive and negative sides of the issue, which have an in uence on identity formation process of teenagers.Item Dyskurs obywatelstwa w podręcznikach do kształcenia literaturowego w gimnazjum. The article is devoted to the implications brought into the process of teachers training by the impact of key competencies and information technologies. Special attention is paid to information proficiency and future teachers’ skills that are the most important for their training and perspective career. Monitoring of future teachers’ information proficiency forming at Polish establishments of higher education has been carried out which resulted in developing methodology recommendations for raising the level of the students’ information pro ciency at Ukrainian pedagogical higher educational establishments. Level of scienti fic development of the issue of future teachers’ information pro ciency forming has been described. Competence approach to training teachers for information society has been paid attention to. Peculiarities and structure of future teachers’ information pro ciency have been characterized. Entomological metaphor of subimago helps here in revealing the social status quo of the mentioned „home education” in Poland. One can describe socioeducational reality using different forms of expression. Metaphorization is one of them, not always adequate, but indispensable as well as cognitively pleasant.Item Analiza kompetencji rodziców w zakresie bezpieczeństwa dzieci w Internecie(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Bartkowiak, AnnaIn the last three years there had been conducted several researches in Poland, which were related to competences and consciousness of parents in the field of children safety in the Internet, including the research conducted in 2010 in all European Union countries (the EU Kids Online research). In this paper the author focuses mainly on the comparison and synthesis of the result of these researches on safety of children in the Internet and parent’s competences in that matter as well on presentation of conclusions drawn from these results. The new orientation leads researchers to explore new paths – one of them may be the inclusion of popular culture with all its potential, not excluding popular arts, to the educational canon. This text is an attempt to approximate the popular arts as having significant educational potential in reference to the critical pedagogy. I will try to prove that even purely entertaining aspects of culture may have educational content. First of all, I would like to describe a critical orientation in pedagogy; I will present its practical side in relation to the deconstruction of cultural meanings and nally, I will show some consequent implications for relations between culture and education. The next part of my considerations will concern the popular culture as an educational area, with particular emphasis on a game as the source of culture and as an inherent element of popular arts. I will present in detail associations between popular arts and education based on Polish cabaret which I acknowledged as a place, where basic tasks and functions of critical pedagogy can be seen and realized. Finally, I will present some parts of interviews which had been conducted as my researches – these are the respondents’ opinions about cabaret and its interpretation. This part seems to be showing cabaret as a place of discourse, where a critical dialogue between the sender, the content and the recipient of cabaret transmission takes place.Item Kariera jako „własność” jednostki – rozważania teoretyczne nad definicyjnym credo(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Cybal-Michalska, AgnieszkaThe narration of this article is focused on showing various ways of capturing the phenomenon of career from a subjective perspective. The subject of an analysis will be the reconstruction of chosen theoretical perspectives, where one emphasizes changes in quality attitude to the career phenomenon and showing the “career making” meaning of people’s activities. The content presented in this article is concentrated on a subjective, personal aspect of capturing a career. In this sense, career is always ascribed to a specific individual, it is their assets and this particular individual attaches importance to the career phenomenon. In this sense, career is the sequence of experiences of a particular individual, linked with the quality of a professional life; this is a unique structure, resulting from autonomous choices.Item Dzieci jako adresaci i odbiorcy reklam telewizyjnych(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Starosta, Anna MariaLiving in XXI century, experiencing personally technological and psycho – social changes that modern world provides us with, usually we cannot see many phenomena. One of them is undoubtedly the impact of TV commercials on children’s personality development process. – Yet, it has become one of the most important factors affecting the child in the process of the social – economic development that exerts great influence on the way of thinking and behavior. It mainly results from the fact that children today live in a world completely different from previous generations to such an extent that more and more often their childhood is described as „television childhood”. The child starts to experience the television (and what comes with it – TV commercials) at home continues throughout the childhood and his youth. A particular concern is the fact that children nowadays have a contact with the medium very early – it starts once their level of development allows them to focus on the screen for some (not long though) time. It is possible to interpret this conception as mobilization of human capital in the environment of a social change.Item O dużych dziewczynkach i ich małych lalkach – reborn w kulturze ponowoczesnej(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2012) Zaworska-Nikoniuk, DorotaThe article deals with the analysis of the phenomenon of simulating motherhood and fatherhood by playing reborns – realistic baby-like dolls, it describes the process of reborns creation, the intentions of artists who create them and the motives of people who use ‘artificial children’. The article gives a threefold analysis of the phenomenon: the striving for living in perfect reality that is simulated (based on the concept by J. Baudrillard), acting the play of family life in the magic world of consumption (based on the concept by G. Ritzer) and aiming at collecting experiences, impressions and emotions (based on the concept by Z. Bauman). As an educationalist I am considering the following: may using reborns have a therapeutical and educational aspect and what is their role in the postmodern world.
