In order for parents to get more involved with children’s education, a better communication must be established between parents and teachers in kindergartens. Effective communication between families and kindergartens is frequent and bidirectional, instills a sense of shared purpose, and works toward mutually advantageous solutions to problems. The aim of this paper is to build and effective communication system between teachers and parents in the kindergarten. Therefore, the current work will focus on the collaboration between teachers and parents, which consists in two main elements: (1) Partnership which presents the parties involved with special challenges that must be navigated unto agreement. (2) Communication which is defined as working level of partnership, e.g. activity of conveying information through the exchange of ideas, feelings, intentions, attitudes, expectations, perceptions or commands.Item Dlaczego Polacy nie są innowacyjni? Konteksty socjopedagogiczne(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Przyborowska, BeataInnovation and being innovative are very important in different areas of our life. Reports indicate that Poland is characterized by little innovation. In this text I am focusing on the subjective dimension of innovation, which translates into a collective innovation, thus building innovation in all spheres of society. I wonder why Poles are not innovative as a society yet declare and manifest innovation at the individual level.Item Post-subkultury i tożsamość młodzieży współczesnej: tyrania tymczasowości?(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Melosik, ZbyszkoThis text is devoted to the concept of subculture and tribalism, which enable a new interpretation of the way of organizing young people’s everyday life. It seems that in contemporary reality an affiliation of an individual to a subcultural group – in the context of the possibility of obtaining social success - is excessive. A person who consistently identifies with oriented resistance, rebellion, or creates an alternative world group is in practice excluded from mainstream culture and career. It is true that modern society seems to tolerate almost any difference, but it is by no means so-called “cold tolerance”. The marginalization of persons belonging to the subculture is done by silent mechanisms of ignorance. At the same time belonging to a subculture usually requires the reconstruction of one’s own identity, including the stringent requirements of the group, both in terms of value systems and everyday lifestyles. It is not difficult to notice that in contemporary world lifelong relationships and coalitions, “brotherhood of arms” and close ties disappear increasingly. They are replaced by sometimes ad-hoc configurations of tribal character, directed to fight with another tribe, created in the same way, or to the implementation of a specific “interest”. At the same time, these configurations are temporary, sometimes even makeshift.Item Miejsce „pedagogiki szkolnej” w naukach o wychowaniu. So far the classes of the sociotherapy were recognized and they are still treated as a field of a separate, specialized psychological help for young addicts or young people coming from families neglecting their educational functions. This is reflected in the history of sociotherapy in Poland. In the model proposed in the article, sociotherapy is an integral part of the system of psychological support. This system is important part of support for the activities, impacts and interventions of a purely rehabilitative nature. In the presented text author has outlined the shape of this system, with a particular focus on sociotherapy – consistent with an axiology of the rehabilitative pedagogy. He has adopted a cardinal thesis that the role of psychological help in the prison rehabilitation should be a gradual, processual and phased outputting of the convicted from the specific social excluding isolation, connected with the prohibited acts committed by him, to actively functioning in the different societal circles. The essential content of the psychological influence is a relatively controlled, escalating build-up and implementation of the socializing incentives. In the next part of this article the author pointed out, according to research of the research team led by the author as part of research and development project, the importance of an individual diagnosis, qualifying for the sociotherapy. Then he focused on the principles of the diagnosis of the individual in the socio-therapeutic group and of the diagnosis of the group as a resultant of the diagnosis of single units that create it. The main part of the article, on the basis of the integrated sociotherapy, shows the cardinal principles that should be used by the sociotherapeutic teams that are organized and operated in the prison, both organized from among prisoners and for Prison Service officers. The described principles can be also applied to the sociotherapies organized and operated in the open environments with socially unfit adults, whose primary concern is a criminal behavior. The summary indicated what are the central and boundary conditions for sociotherapy to gained rehabilitative function and that it could be its leading function. Author has also drawn an attention to the need of research and dialogue between researchers – theorists and therapists working in practice, centralized around the problem of constructing the statements of the sociotherapy praxeology with the prisoners and persons because of their criminal activities.Item Spostrzeganie podobieństw i odrębności na linii ja – rówieśnicy przez współczesną młodzież(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Peret-Drążewska, PaulinaThis article is devoted to theoretical considerations and research on the process of interpersonal comparison, which is based on the perception of similarity and distinction along the line I – other people, through the self – discovery which helps crystallize one’s own identity. They were inspired by the ideas of important world personalities such as J. Dewey, M. Montessori, E. Key, H. Parkhurst, etc., and were active in individual alternative classes, resp. schools, but their activity was limited to them only as they did not find any continuators of their effort in the period under consideration.
