Item Sprawozdanie z konferencji naukowo-szkoleniowej „Akademia Ochrony Przed Przemocą”(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Flatow, Ewelina (oprac.)Item Drogi i bezdroza szkolnictwa wojskowego w Polsce(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Kojkoł, JerzyThe article presents the history of the military higher education system, which is connected to the shaping of the Polish statehood as well as its present state. The structure of this type of education system was dependent on the e ectiveness of socio-economic, political and military activities of public authorities. However, it is only the November Uprising which is generally associated with the revolt of the o cers from the O cer Cadets School [Szkoła Podchorazych] in Warsaw. The changes which occur within the military education system on account of its adjustment to the requirements of the Act “Law on higher education” of 27 June 2005 are very positive. They accommodate military higher education institutions to the public system of higher education, they in uence the development and the quality of education in these institutions, they obliged them to implement the regulations arising from the National Quali cations Framework and to observe all the procedures arising from the legislations which are enacted in the domain of higher education by the competent public authorities.Item Dyskursy kultury popularnej w społeczeństwie współczesnym, red. Agnieszka Cybal-Michalska, Paulina Wierzba(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Klichowski, MichałItem Pedagogika potoczności jako podstawa alternatywnej teorii nauczania o Holokauście(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Kaźmierczak, Marek; Boroń, AleksandraThe pedagogy of commonness might be the art of distinguishing between complementary knowledge and its appearances and communicative masks. Ignorance can create some myths of daily life that sanction mistakes, abuses and misunderstandings as the equivalents or even substitutes of knowledge based on true research, dialogue and exchange of thoughts and ideas. The main thesis of this article is: commonness will not cease – that is why the future reception of the Holocaust depends on the critical thinking skills of people who as users of new media should know why the Holocaust is not only a word. The pedagogy of commonness should prepare every user (who is or will be interested in) of the new media to think critically about the diversity of representations of the Holocaust.Item Tożsamość w społeczeństwie współczesnym: pop-kulturowe [re]interpretacje, pod redakcja Agnieszki Gromkowskiej-Melosik i Zbyszko Melosika(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Paulina, Wierzba (oprac.)Item Jarema Drozdowicz, Symbole w działaniu. In the postmodern perspective there is “the end of the past” which is, to some extend, a product of consumption society and globalization. The contemporary societies are future-oriented and the rituals, myths and the need of belonging have nearly disappeared. In this context the questions about the purposes of history education and its relation to citizenship education are posed: should history education be nation-orientated to build loyalty and commitment or should it develop skills and knowledge for better comprehension of the present? Is history education oriented towards consensus or con ict? How to talk about history in multicultural societies, without marginalizing particular groups and without imperious imposition of the only version of “the Truth”? In order to answer to these question the reconstruction of the western debate has been made.Item Sprawozdanie z Ogólnopolskiej Konferencji Naukowej „Edukacja i struktura społeczna”(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Klichowski, MichałItem Hipoteza Sapira-Whorfa – przegląd argumentów zwolenników i przeciwników(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Klimczuk, AndrzejNowadays is growing importance of interdisciplinary research and in the field of cultural diversity, multiculturalism and intercultural cooperation. Vouchery – najbardziej radykalna forma prywatyzacji amerykańskiej edukacji(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Potulicka, EugeniaPrivatization is the main theme of educational politics in XXI century. The idea of vouchers is connected with the believe, that if parents can use publicly funded vouchers to cover tuition at the school of their choice, schools will be forced to compete for paying customers and hence will have reason to improve. But those who believe that education is a part of the implicit social contract required for an e ective democracy place emphasis on a school system that is free, publicly funded and guided by democratic decisions rather than that the market ones. Against vouchers was even Chief Justice Earl Warren, who have said that the opportunity of an education is a right which must be made available to all on equal terms.Item Między etnocentryzmem a uniwersalizmem. Jak prowadzić dialog i szukać fundamentów globalnego porozumienia?(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Kalbarczyk, TomaszThe paper refers to the discussion between different philosophical approaches to problems brought by globalisation. Building various concepts in social and political philosophy requires both rejecting radical relativism as well as finding alternatives to fundamentalism. Between radical approaches there is space for a reasonable ethics and theory of politics. I conclude with Wiktor Osiatynski’s “soft universalism” of human rights, which can be deployed as a tool for building compromise between contradictory standpoints.Item Alternatively the Role of Parents(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im.Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2013) Smetanová, DorotaTopic of homosexuality is gradually coming to consciousness (not only) in Slovak society and it also due to the many professional works, which after the political changes in the last decade in our country gradually emerge from the depths of the taboo spheres to the spheres of ideological confrontations and constructive discussions. We do not claim that our society has reached the necessary level of debate both groups, heterosexual majority and gay and lesbian minority. However, took a path whose goal has signs of democratic society. All new phenomena must strike a long way till they are completely understated, accepted by society and at last integrated to the common life of society. Homosexuality is such a phenomenon. This path is a test of endurance gays and lesbians and heterosexuals test of democratic thinking. The contribution we tried to transmit a little further from the general question of homosexuality, specifically one of the areas described below, which is an area of „presence” of the child in the gay and lesbian partnerships.
