Item Poradnictwo biograficzne. O pomocy psychopedagogicznej w biegu życia człowieka(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2009) Piorunek, MagdalenaThis work is addressed to people in their course of life with a special emphasis on the functioning of the educational and professional sphere. Very dynamic socio-cultural transformations connected with changes in the consciousness, cultural pluralism and axiological relativism, dominating changeability, uncertainty and unpredictability of human life, as well as economical changes (‘a professional earthquake’) constitute a basis for the development of the counselling. It is addressed to people on different biographical stages, focusing prophylactic and pro especially on the crucial events in life, periods of transition, or a time when people commence some routine actions in-between the turning points in their lives. It has therapeutic, motional functions. Its role in the human biography is analysed from an individual (as it appeals to the biographical narration case) and social perspective. The main task of counselling nowadays is assisting human beings in their course of life, in the path of their development, characterized, fi rst and foremost, in the context of a permanent social change.Item Studia Edukacyjne - spis treści(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2010)Item Dziecko wobec świata pracy i zawodów. Emiryczne przyczynki. Obraz fenomenu(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2010) Piorunek, MagdalenaThe text “Dziecko wobec świata pracy i zawodów. Emiryczne przyczynki. Obraz fenomenu” [A Child and a World of Work and Occupations. Empirical Contributions. A Picture of the Phenomenon] analyses how children perceive the specificity of the vocational world in the context of the classical theories that see a career development as a lifelong experience (Ginzberg, Super) and some selected theories that assign to this biographical stage a role in further relations with the occupational market (e.g. Roe, Gottfredson). Some selective references were made to the author’s own research project that focuses on verifying a descriptive and evaluative image of the occupational world that is formed in the childhood and wishful occupational projects of this stage that are embedded in the fantasy and in the incomplete and fragmentary knowledge that a few year old child has on the outside occupational world that it experiences indirectly. These deliberations are treated as a contribution to an analysis and description of the childhood’s development regularities; they are also a pretext for formulating general practical recommendations aimed at supporting occupational development at this stage.Item Od stabilizacji do chaosu zawodowego. Scenariusze biografii zawodowych etapu średniej dorosłości(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2010) Piorunek, MagdalenaThe text discusses the main social and cultural transformations that occurred over the last twenty years and the simultaneous political and economic transformations that have become a background for different structuring of individual biographies. In circumstances where changes have become permanent, the organized, foreseeable, relatively certain as regards their feasibility life-course models, including the vocational life-course models, cease to exist. Random references were made to results of biographical research whose main objective was to identify and describe vocational life courses of individuals in their middle adulthood, i.e. persons who, according to the classical vocational development periodisation by D. Super, already have a well-defined vocational career model that they confirm by real activities during stabilisation and in a further perspective – during consolidation. If and to what extent the current labour market changes are transposed on the course of individual’s life experience – how these changes pervade the sphere of vocational biographies, how individual vocational models change in the middle adulthood? – these have been the main questions defining the research area. Attempts were made to depict how individuals form their vocational paths in circumstances of permanent macrostructural social change, that in the Polish reality was intensified due to a shift from a centrally-planned economy to a free-market economy. Three types of the middle adulthood vocational biographies were identified and characterised: linear, sequential and decentralised (mosaic) biographies.Item Dziecko na wybranych przedstawieniach ikonograficznych Michała Stachowicza (1768–1825)(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2010) Kabacińska, KatarzynaBasing on the reflections concerning the socio-political situation at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and its impact on art (especially painting), the author shows how the little-known artist in Cracow, Michal Stachowicz depicts a child on his historical and realistic paintings as well as other works of art. One can distinguish 5 types of depicting a child: the child as an observer of political events, a participant in rituals, a peasant child, children's games and portraits.Item Od grzechotki do… – słów kilka o zabawkach dziecięcych(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2010) Kabacińska, KatarzynaThe author, on the background of historical circumstances of the development of children’s toys, shows both timeless aspects of the toys (their functions are as follows: educational, ludic, socializing), as well as a certain conservatism in a children's toy. The purpose of the text is to show that on the one hand, a today’s toy refers to its predecessors, and on the other hand, it has some characteristics of modernity. Raport z badań(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Piorunek, Magdalena; Werner, IwonaThe forming of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) of the academic education is a process composed of two dimensions: objective (institutional, legal, organizational, financial) and subjective (psychological, symbolic, axiological). Such action is associated not only with a fundamental reform of educational institutions and the change in its organizational frames, but also with the change of attitudes of educational process participants. In this context it seems that it is important to recognize students' opinions, evaluations and plans. The article aims to present selectively chosen research results conducted on non-public university humanities fields. The objective was to identify students' experiences related to the practice of studying and educational and vocational plans. As it turned out, gender was one of the major factors differentiating the obtained data. Fundamentally, female students are more involved in the study, they generally accept-existing realities of higher education and declare that humanistic studies moderately well-prepared them to cope with the labor market (or alternatively: female students accept the offer of labor after graduation humanities). Female students also intend to work in line with the direction of professional education. While male students are more likely to manifest indifferent attitudes towards studying and they admit to a small own involvement in studying. Both, they are more likely to express critical opinions on the overall system of modern higher education and more clearly recognize the shortcomings of humanistic education. In case of male students the inconsistency between his field of study and professional plans was noticed. Finally, male students are more likely than female to acces PhD studies and to do business after graduation.Item Edukacyjne walory publicznych występów poznańskiej młodzieży szkolnej w XVI-XVIII wieku(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Nowicki, MichałIt was characteristic for old Polish secondary education that all elements of school life were being used to enhance the impact of educational influence. According to the fact, that the basic program of teaching doesn't occupy children too much, they were able to prepare some public performances. We can distinguish a few examples: individual speeches, dialogues or theatre spectacles. These occupations were a great opportunity to exercise important skills for future public activity of young noblemen. Such kind of education was not only widely accepted by Polish society, but also suggested by some parents. Especially according to poetic and rhetoric education. One of the most important aims of that system was to create a human able to understand and create a popular culture. Thus public activities could be considered as a chance to develop skills of future politicians and, in general, members of society. But not only oratorical skills. We should remember, that such education was connected with some kind of knowledge and, what's more, moral values. Children during preparation to public performances were taught, for example, about the history of ancient civilizations and their culture, and the same with regard to Poland (including basic information about Polish modern offices or institutions). The most important aspect of these practices however was related to morality and civic education. Historical sources show us many examples: importance of religion in everyday life, justice, peace, concord and many other. These values were often personified and played by pupils in school theatre. It must be emphasized that these shows had a strong influence not only on a children education, but also on spectators. Already in 16th century it has been noticed that theatre or dialogues should be used in Poznań by Jesuits as a mean to teach people. This article concentrates on public performances in Poznań from sixteenth to eighteenth century. There were analyzed two secondary schools: Lubrański Academy and Poznań Jesuits College. The author wanted to show the similarity of educational system in these schools, the same involvement with preparing young people to public performances and the pedagogical aspects of this.Item (Bez)sens planowania przyszłości... Refleksje o adolescencyjnym projektowaniu przyszłości edukacyjno-zawodowej(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Piorunek, MagdalenaThe text Sense(lessnes) of future planning... Reflections on educational and vocational future planning by adolescents poses a question about whether the planning of educational and vocational future by adolescents makes any sense and is effective in the post-modern times, when the social reality is ambiguous, unpredictable, unstable and changes dynamically. The author makes references to the original research of the educational and vocational future planning process by adolescents and provides us with the characteristics of the future planning styles and strategies that were identified in the longitudinal and cross-sectional studies. The author considers how young people cope with answering the identity-crisis specific questions of Who am I and Who shall I be in the future. The qualitative characteristics presents young people applying the present-oriented and future-oriented strategies in the approaches to their educational and vocational carriers. References are also made to a reflection, a central one in the carrier guidance, on how effective the educational and vocational guidance can be in the situation of permanent change and apparently rational behaviour of adolescents who choose not to plan.Item Nowe obszary edukacji - trójwymiarowe światy wirtualne(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Topol, PawełAutor porusza problematykę trójwymiarowych światów wirtualnych i ich miejsca w edukacji. Item Przedmiot oceny zachowania z perspektywy ocenianych gimnazjalistów(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM w Poznaniu, 2011) Jaskulska, SylwiaThe subject of this article is the ‘conduct marking’ in Junior secondary school. I present the study results, that can be a source of information on school and can contribute to the debate about condition of Polish education. The results are the following: the educational ideal at school is the conformist attitude, students whose conduct is assessed are not motivated to act or work on improving themselves. Schools don’t support student’s development by preparing for autonomous learning, critical attitude, self-assessment, introspection, initiative, involvement and self-development.Item Psychologiczne konsekwencje (euro)sieroctwa: funkcjonowanie rodziny, diagnoza i pomoc(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Brzezińska, Anna Izabela; Matejczuk, JoannaEconomic migration, especially to Western Europe, is increasingly the reaction of Poles to the presently occurring political, economic, and social changes. The mass exodus and the resulting family separation are becoming a serious social problem, especially in relation to the issues of the development and education of children and youth left behind commonly known as Euroorphans. Psychological consequences of Euromigration are experienced by all family members i.e. parents-spouses, children, grandparents, as well as the immediate surrounding friends, neighbours, school, and local community. The balance of positive and negative effects of decisions made by the family in the period of political transformation also those concerning the place of living and employment either together or separately depends, to a great extent, on the mode of reaching the decisions and implementing them by the whole family. We pay particular attention to the degree of involvement of all family members in the decision making process concerning migration and to the necessity of preparing the family in advance to make conscious and responsible choices. Family counsellors play an essential role in this field.Item Kształtowanie się tożsamości w okresie dzieciństwa i dorastania u osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną: rola rodziny i szkoły(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2011) Rękosiewicz, Małgorzata; Brzezińska, Anna IzabelaIdentity is mainly formed in adolescence, but preparing for that process begins much earlier. From early childhood man gets the skills that determine the formation of identity (Erikson, 1950). The study of identity in Poland (eg. Brzezińska, Piotrowski, Garbarek-Sawicka, Karowska, Muszyńska, 2010) and around the world (eg. Luyckx, Soenens, Vansteenkiste, Goossens, Berzonsky, 2007) indicate the specific factors influencing its development, including contextual factors. The paper aims to identify the role of family and school in forming identity among young people with intellectual disability – to identify the factors that support or hinder optimal development of disability.Item Media, edukacja i tożsamość etniczna – na przykładzie mniejszości Sami(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012) Gmerek, TomaszThe article is devoted to the discussion of media and education as factors of ethnic assimilation and on the other hand as a factor of the revitalization of an indigenous culture. The study analyses the position of the Sami language in the educational system and modern media in Scandinavian countries. It focuses on language as the main cultural factor of Sami ethnic identity. The author emphasizes the assimilation and marginalization process of minority language policy in Norway, Sweden, and Finland, and the possibilities of language revitalization in contemporary Sami society.Item Apolitical politics and political reality (Masaryk‘s humanity of historical moment)(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012) Hrušková, Lenka; Somr, MiroslavHumanist Masaryk made every effort to persuade heads and hearts; he created an image of a citizen and civil society by philosophy of humanity and apolitical politics. Masaryk‘s apolitical politics interfered with the political reality and economic instability of the state built in the spirit of democratic humanism.Item Możliwości edukacyjne instrumentów nowych mediów na przykładzie lip dub’a(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012) Kaczmarek-Śliwińska, MonikaNew technologies are inevitable in our life. Despite earlier worries concerning the negative impact of ICT on social bonds, it has turned out that they can be positively used to create values and synergy effects. This raises the question concerning the role of a modern school in an ICT era. Is it still in the traditional media era or does it try to create and maintain social relations with young people? The role of school in the ICT era may infl uence all the actors involved – teachers, students and their parents. This seems to be a challenge for the paradigm of media education. From this perspective the article presents the potential educational value of one of new media instruments – a lip dub.Item Spis treści(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012)Item Społeczno-kulturowe i ekonomiczne uwarunkowania zróżnicowania wyników egzaminów zewnętrznych(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012) Radoła, MirosławThe main objective of the article is to define the correlations between the differences in the results of students’ gymnasium exams and the socio-cultural and economical factors. In this elaboration there are presented the contents on the human resources. The author defines such concepts as: human, social, cultural and economic capital and indicates their connections with the results of the mentioned examinations. The author also makes an attempt to formulate the conclusions and postulates from the analyzed literature and data of the research conducted in this area.Item Jak kształtować kulturę zaufania i odpowiedzialności w szkole w warunkach promowania rywalizacji przez neoliberalizm?(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2012) Rutkowiak, JoannaThe text brings up the issue of forming the culture of trust at school as an element that is par-ticularly important for the principle of social capital. This subject is presented in a wider con-text and based on the assumption that not only does the quality of social life filter and is reflec-ted in the quality of the educational institution, but it also puts pressure on it.
