    Czy pierwotne ego ma charakter historyczny?

    The article concerns the problem of time, and methodological grounds of investigating historicity in Husserl’s philosophy. The article has a polemical character, i.e., it discusses with theses presented by Saulius Geniusas in the Husserl’s Notion of the Primal Ego in Light of the Hermeneutical Critique. I argue, that the general tendency of Geniusas’ questions requires an enlargement, at least with regard to his analyses of Dieter Lohmar’s “functional reading” of the primal ego, because the problem itself leads one to the following question: Is it possible to reduce the hermeneutical critique of phenomenology to a mere question about the legitimacy of the analyses of the primal ego? I emphasizes that such a critique is not necessary, instead one has to understand the critique as being involved in the methodological status of historical questioning. Additionally, I claim that the question of history of the ego involves an another level of constitution than the level of temporalization, about which Geniusas in fact asks in his article. Lastly, I assert that the question about historicity of the ego presupposes a certain order of constitution; with regard to the order more “primal” level is “earlier” than the “later” level. The way of questioning, however, leads to the problem of regressus in infinitum. After the critical remarks, I enlarges Geniusas’ most interesting and promising aspect of the problem of the primal ego, viz., the problem of transcendental naiveté. By introducing the problem, as I argue, a phenomenologist is confronted with the necessity of redoing reduction.

    In this article I have shown what describes basic approaches to technics realized by phenomenologists. They are characterized by their strengths and weaknesses. Followed by this analysis I’m showing how this crisis of phenemonological method applied do technicization could be overcame by experimental phenomenology approach. I’m arguing that phenomenology of technics should be considered as an existential practice, not only as specialized process of conceiving instrumentalized phenomena. In the end I’m underlying consequences of that proposition.

    Majeutyczny zwrot fenomenologii

    Gut bekannt sind die Beziehungen zwischen Phänomenologie und Hermeneutik. Paul Ricoeur nannte bekanntlich die Hermeneutik ein Pfropfen auf dem Bau der Phänomenologie. Aus der hermeneutischen Perspektive wurde die Phänomenologie für ihre These einer vermeintlichen Voraussetzugslosigkeit von Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty oder Gadamer kritisiert, und ihre Geschichtlichkeit, Sprachlichkeit und Situationsbezogenheit ans Tageslicht gebracht. Die Phänomenologie vollzog hiermit eine hermeneutische Wende. Die in ihr implizierten maieutische Tendenzen kamen jedoch nicht zu einem gleichrangigen Durchbruch trotz vielen großartigen Entwürfen, sei es einer Phänomenkonzeption mit einer starken Akzentuierung des Vollzugsinnes und einer sogenannten Vollzugstheorie der Bedeutung (Gethmann) bei Heidegger, sei es einer Philosophie als Aktion bei Dilthey, sei es einer Vorbildkonzeption samt ihrer Forderung der Gefolgschaft bei Scheler. Eine maieutische Wende der Phänomenologie bleibt immer noch aus, und zwar obwohl viele maieutischen Tendenzen gleichzeitig in der Hermeneutik immer deutlicher wurden, sowohl bei Gadamer in seiner Anwendungvoraussetzung (Applikation) als auch bei Ricoeur in seiner dritten Mimesis als einer Refiguration. In dem darauffolgenden Text wird eine maieutische Wende der Phänomenologie skizziert, die sich für eine maieutische Wahrheitskonzeption stark machen will, in der vordergründig nicht abstrakte Inhalte zum Vorschein gebracht werden sollen sondern ihre adäquate, existentielle Aneignungsart im Focus stehen soll (gemäß dem Kierkegaardschen Postulat wonach das Wie der Wahrheit ist die Wahrheit oder mit Heidegger formuliert ein Kennen ist ein Können, wobei auf die Ähnlichkeit dieser Konzeption mit ihrer pragmatischen Version bei Ch. Peirce Bezug genommen wird).

    Subiektywność a historyczność: myśląc o krytyce fenomenologii w hermeneutyce

    The paper is meant to accomplish a twofold goal. First, it aims to spell out some implications that are entailed, although not fully spelled out, in my Husserl’s Notion of the Primal Ego in Light of the Hermeneutical Critique. Secondly, this paper also aims to answer Witold Płotka’s multifaceted critique of my Husserl’s Notion… that he articulated in his Does the Primal Ego have a Historical Character? With this twofold goal in mind, I argue that (1) Husserl’s notion of transcendental subjectivity is historical through and through and that (2) the historical nature of transcendental subjectivity compels one to rethink the hermeneutical critique of phenomenology. I further suggest that the freeing of Husserl’s notion of the primal ego from the hermeneutical critique opens a new space to pursue a dialogue between phenomenology and hermeneutics. Such a dialogue should lead to the realization that the problematic of the primal ego can in significant ways enrich the hermeneutical accounts of self-understanding.
