Item Adaptacyjne aspekty hominizacji. Część I. Przystosowania morfologiczne i fizjologiczne(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Kujawa, BetinaADAPTIVE ASPECTS OF HOMINIZATION. PART I. MORPHOLOGICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL ADAPTATIONS. Both some geological, climatic and material traces that are used in paleonthology let reconstruct the complex of the adaptive traits that were developed in Australopithecines. The environmental conditions of the South-Eastern Africa in late Pliocene and early Pleistocene directed some morphological, physiological and behavioural changes which the first hominids underwent.Item Akceleracja rozwoju i zmiany sekularne cech morfologicznych młodzieży wrocławskiej(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Ignasiak, Zofia; Sławińska, TeresaACCELERATION OF GROWTH AND SECULAR TREND AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE IN WROCŁAW. Research materials are taken from longitudinal studies of children in Wroclaw. The measurements were carried out nineteen years apart. Children between the ages 8-15 were studied. Height and body mass were analized, as well as the Rohrer index and the thickness of three skinfolds.Item Biologiczne skutki zróżnicowania społecznego ludzkich populacji szkieletowych z terenu Polski w okresie feudalnym. Aspekt morfologiczny(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Kozak, JerzyBIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF SOCIAL STRATIFICATION AMONG HUMAN SKELETAL POPULATIONS FROM FEUDAL POLAND. THE MORPHOLOGICAL ASPECT. In the study, the metrical traits of 30 skeletal populations from 9/10-19 c. Poland were analized, using the multi-trait method of principal components. The study attempts to determine the nature and strength of the connection between a changing social structure and one of the factors which shaped it (i.e. urbanizatin) and the morphological picture of human groups.Item Charakterystyka urazów układu kostnego ludności pochowanej na cmentarzysku w Grucznie (XI - XIV w.)(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Kozłowski, TomaszBONE TRAUMAS AMONG THE SKELETAL POPULATION FROM GRUCZNO (11-14 C.). The study contains a quantitative and qualitative description of mechanical traumas of the sceleton as observed in the remains of human from a medieval site in Gruczno.Item Czy miejsce procesu akulturacji rodziców wpływa modyfikująco na poziom rozwoju cech fenotypowych ich potomstwa?(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Cieślik, Joachim; Kosińska, MagdalenaDOES THE ORIGIN OF PARENTAL ACCULTURATION INFLUENCE CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT? The purpose of this paper is to analyse the influence of parents' culturgenes on stature and body weight of children distinguished by the origin of parental acculturation.Item Dymorfizm płciowy w pre- i postnatalnym rozwoju krtani człowieka(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Bożiłow, Władimir; Betlejewski, Stanisław; Sawicki, Konstanty; Winiarski, Piotr; Krakowiak, JanuszTHE SEXUAL DIMORPHISM IN PRE- AND POSTNATAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN LARYNX. Fourteen diameters, generally characterizing the larynxes of Poles from the 4th fetal month to the 90th year of life were analysed. The authors' material consisted of 200 normal fetuses. Postnatal material (956 specimes) was reinterpreted after recounting data from literature.Item Dynamika biologiczna polskich społeczności wiejskich z różnych systemów ekologicznokulturowych w XVIII i XIX wieku(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Puch, Elżbieta AlicjaBIOLOGICAL DYNAMICS OF POLISH RURAL COMMUNITES FROM VARIOUS ECO-CULTURAL SYSTEMS IN THE 18TH AND 19TH CENTURIES. The problems was investigated taking into consideration births, deaths and marriages recorded in the parish registers of: Płużnica (Silesia), Pobiedr (Galicia) and Szczepanowo (Wielkopolska Region). Fluctuations in mortality and fertility, as well as changes in seasonality of births, deaths and entering into marriages were estimated. Mating, marital migration, opportunity of natural selection and the possibility of changes within gene pools were analyzed. The investigations have shown that the biological dynamics of the populations differed distinctly according to time, region and sociocultural factors.Item Niektóre odrębności rozwojowe dzieci otyłych i nadmiernie szczupłych(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Chrzanowska, MariaSOME DEVELOPMENTAL DISTINCTION AMONG OBESE AND EXTREMELY THIN CHILDREN, were studied in a population of 6,540 individuals. Certain ontogenetic characteristics of obese as opposed to extremely thin children were observed.Item Ocena rozwoju somatycznego dzieci i młodzieży z wadą słuchu (niedosłuch i głuchota)(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Łuczak, EwaTHE SOMATICAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH DEFECT OF HEARING (PARTIAL DEAFNESS AND DEAFNESS). The study was concerned on the relationship between the physical development and the degree hearing impairment, the etiology of hearings defect (heredity, congenital, acquired), the distemper of pregnancy and delivery and maturation rate.Item Paleopatologia - rozwój, osiągnięcia i zamierzenia(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Gładykowska-Rzeczycka, Judyta JuliaPALEOPATHOLOGY - DEVELOPMENT, ACHIEVEMENTS AND PURPOSE. All these problems are here presented in a very short view.Item Profesor Franciszek Wokroj (1906-1991)(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Malinowski, AndrzejItem SPRAWOZDANIE z Walnego Zgromadzenia Polskiego Towarzystwa Antropologicznego odbytego 28 sierpnia 1990 r. we Wrocławiu(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Krajewska, AlicjaItem SPRAWOZDANIE z Walnego Zgromadzenia Polskiego Towarzystwa Antropologicznego odbytego 3 września 1993 r. w Gdańsku(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Jarosz, Emilia; Puch, Elżbieta AlicjaItem Tin in Human Bones(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Jambor, Jaroslav; Smrčka, VáclavTIN IN HUMAN BONES. The tin content in the bones of 149 skeletons from the 1st - 5th centuries A.D., and of 11 individuals of the recent population was determined. The bone samples were carbonized and analyzed through emission spectroscopy with a.c. excitation. The tin content in bones of recent populations not exposed to extra tin supply is about one order of magnitude higher than is the case with the bones od some populations that lived at the beginning of our era. The distribution of tin in long bones, dependent on age, as well as the sources and role of tin in environmental contamination are discussed.Item Wpływ czynników biologicznych i psychicznych na czucie dotyku u dzieci(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Kozłowska, AgnieszkaBIOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF CHILDREN TACTILE SENSE were examinated among 593 Polish children population. Absolute pressure sensitivity tresholds were correlating with age, body height and weight, and sodo-economical status of studied families.Item Zastosowanie analizy kladystycznej do rekonstrukcji filogenezy hominidów(Polskie Towarzystwo Antropologiczne, 1993) Kaszycka, Katarzyna A.RECONSTRUCTION OF HOMINID PHYLOGENY ON THE BASIS OF CLADISTIC ANALYSIS. Phylogenetic relationships among eight hominid taxa (the Australopithecines and Homo) are examined using cladistic techniques. Data on morphological and morphometric characters of fossil hominid crania, mandibles and dentition were collected from the literature. Cladograms were constructed using the PAUP phylogeny program to find the best fitting (maximum parsimony) hypotheses. Two equally the most parsimonious cladograms were found. The genus Homo is confirmed to be monophyletic, while Australopithecus is not. Results of this analysis support a close phylogenetic relationship of A.africanus to both Homo and the "robust” Australopithecine clades. Even though the relationships of A.aethiopicus (WT17000) are ambiguous, the most parsimonious cladograms do not place this species as a sister taxon of both A.boisei and A.robustus.
