Item Básník Petr Hruška – marginálie(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Urbanová, SvatavaThis study presents the work of the Ostrava poet Petr Hruška (1964), one of the most remarkable figures of the middle generation, the poetry of which is of interest due to its authentic message, poetic contemplations and sincere account of its relationship to life. Hruška’s poetry is marked by unity, focus and economy. It deals with both perceptions of the world as well as the spiritual sphere of life. It is marked by established toposes of places (industrial Ostrava), along with the intimacy and individualization of poetic gestures. The poet’s internal line of development is in evidence in his five collections of poetry entitled Obývací nepokoje (Unrest Rooms; 1995), Měsíce (Months; 1998), Vűdycky se ty dveře zavíraly (The Door Had Always Been Closing; 2002), Auta vjíűdějí do lodí (Cars Drive Into Ships; 2007), Darmata (2001) and in the compilation publication of his first three collections entitled Zelený svetr (The Green Sweater), expanded with the part Odstavce (Paragraphs). His reflections range from internal, intimate questions concerning family, full of tension and small family conflicts to man’s relationship to the natural world and the landscape. The collection Darmata, awarded the State Prize for Literature 2013, deals with the confusions of life, with changes in communication and with the relativizing of the impact and value of words. He expresses critical views without denying, however, his own imperfections.Item Czy czeska fantastyka po 1989 roku naprawdę jest o niczym?(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Czaplińska, JoannaThe aim of the paper is to present Czech science fiction literature after 1989 and its potential and perspectives in translationts to other languages. The author introduces the most interesting Czech novels that belong not to strictly commercial part of SF-F literature, but also contain „literary” values (as defined by Russian formalists): Utopie, nejlepší verze by Ivan Kmínek, Dlouhý den Valhaly by František Novotný, Peklo Beneš. O šťastnějším Československu by Josef Nesvadba, Engerlingové by Jaroslav Velinský, Spěšný vlak Ch. 24.12 by Jan Poláček, Stráűci noci by Sanča Fülle, a penthalogy Mycelium by Vilma Kadlečková. The author also tries to show that changes after 1989 on book market was for SF-F writers a „identity shock” and lead to „how to write” in the early 90’s. Contemporary Czech SF-F literature offers a wide range of topics and novels are addressed to a wide spectrum of readers who expect different experiences – from pure fun to ambitious problems. As author emphasizes, Czech SF-F is now a fully mature genre and many works of Czech writers are estimated at European and global level.Item Ivo Říha, Možnosti četby. Jandourek tends to use the rules and instruments of the „cultural industry” because he wants to ridicule and deconstruct them. Vaněk-Úvalský shows the world of creators, publishers and distributors of literature and among a plenty of humorous tales he codes the sad diagnosis of ineffectiveness of all aspirations which aim is to reverse the dominating trends. Both writers realize that their trials of contesting the commercial reality are ambivalent. The principle that is obvious for experts of the „cultures of defiance” which claims that the mainstream is prepared to absorb each symptom of protest if it guarantees profits in a case of Jandourek and Vaněk-Úvalský comes true. Their contestation and exposed „niche” are introduced into a trade and find – though the disappointment of both writers – the enthusiastic followers.Item Střetávání mluvené a psané formy jazyka v písemných projevech žáků základní školy(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO) Janečka, MartinThis paper tries to chart the infiltration of spoken language into written language in primary school pupils‘ texts. Uncorrelation of numbers and graphems with the aid of experimental research is observed there – that means breaking the rules of „writing system” (Starý, 1992), orthography is not considered. This paper tries to solve the question of breaking the norm there, where it has never been determined. The aim of this paper is to analyze it mainly from the didactic viewpoint, partially from the linguistic viewpoint. I also consider the relevance of so called subjective and objective style forming factors in this specific situation.Item Wzorzec czeskiej baśni filmowej i jego horrorowe odkształcenie w dwóch filmach Juraja Herza(Komisja Slawistyczna PAN, Oddział w Poznaniu, IFS UAM, Wydawnictwo PRO, 2014) Pająk, PatrycjuszThe fairy tale film is a second only to the comedy of manners flagship genre of Czech cinema. Its popularity in Bohemia is associated with a rich tradition of literary fairy tale, as well as with socio-political conditions, favoring the production of such films. There is prevailed a specific pattern of fairy tale – good-natured and comical. Two Juraj Herz’s fairy tales from 1978 – Virgin and the beast and The ninth heart – stand on this background. Herz introduces the elements of horror to the fairy tale world and consequently gives both films a meaning which is gently objecting to the pattern of Czech fairy tale film.
