From old-time to modern Poznań. An onomastic dictionary of contemporary Poznań crime fiction
Abstract
z ideonimami obecne w powieściach kryminalnych przynależących do trzech nurtów:
The goal of the thesis is the collection and qualitative analysis of the onymic material selected from the Poznań scene crime novels, which allowes for highlighting the characteristics of the genre, visible in the onyms of the crime novel. The research allowes for distinguishing the onymic features of the genre and show how the selection of onomasticon depends on the selected subgenres. The publications discussed in the section on the state of research show that literary onomastics develops in a dynamic and multidirectional way, and the crime genre is more and more often the subject of studies by literary and linguistic researchers, but at the same time there is a lack of works combining both of these approaches. The subject of the analysis are anthroponyms, urbanonyms and chrematonyms with ideonyms occurent in crime novels belonging to three subgenres: contemporary crime fiction, historical crime fiction and fantasy crime fiction. Another goal of the research is to identify the idiolectic features of individual crime fiction writers.
