Dysertacja poświęcona została przedstawieniu konstrukcji prawa do integralności genetycznej. Określono warstwę przedmiotową i podmiotową oraz gwarancje tego prawa człowieka. Praca ma na celu wykazanie, iż prawo do integralności genetycznej wzmacnia ochronę jednostki oraz może spełniać również funkcję czynnika porządkującego stan prawny w zakresie genetyki
człowieka.
This Ph.D. dissertation attempts to establish a structure of the right to genetic integrity. The current developments in genetic technology must be taken into consideration during the law making process. Genetic information can be used not only for in vitro or cloning purposes, but in a workplace or insurance assessment procedures. This creates potential opportunities for discrimination. The individual must not be reduced to his genetic characteristics.
