<mods:abstract>W mojej pracy opisałem problem bezpieczeństwa procesu teleportacji kwantowej zakładając istnienie szumu przy dystrybucji stanu splątanego. Rozważyłem dwa typy teleportowanych stanów. Są to: kubit oraz stan koherentny. Uzyskałem szereg wyników teoretycznych i doświadczalnych.
In my thesis I analyzed the security of quantum teleportation protocols while assuming damping during distribution of the entangled state. I considered two different types of quantum states to be teleported, i.e., qubits and coherent states. I introduced two classes of optimal quantum cloning machines: mirror phase-covariant cloners and axially-symmetric cloners. I showed that the cloning machines optimal for cloning of highly symmetric sets of qubits can be also optimal for sets of lower symmetry. I described the first implementation of a multifunctional cloner. The device has a wide range of applications in quantum information processing. In case of teleportation of qubits I established a security criterion that provides a lower limit on the fidelity of teleportation. I took into account various types of damping. I showed that fidelity depends on the type and strength of damping and on the set of teleported qubits. Assuming that the eavesdropper uses a state dependent cloner I characterized the range of qubits and damping providing secure teleportation. For coherent states I investigated the influence of amplitude damping on entanglement distribution in Furusawa’s teleportation scheme. I described conditions for a quantum channel to provide teleportation with fidelity better than in case of classical communication or optimal cloning employing Gaussian operations. I related the degree of violation of the EPR inequality to the fidelity of teleportation. I designed the optimality criterion for Furusawa’s teleportation scheme which can be applied in practical situations.</mods:abstract>
