The paper gives the picture of mother and fater as viewed by the pupils, and it also shows selected component of the social 'I', social selfevalution, social interests and the marginality of the pupils. The results of the research confirm that a majority of younger adolescents identify primarily woth the parents, and with the peers, and that family values are the most important signpost.
