Całość zagadnienia została podzielona na trzy części. Pierwszą z nich poświęcono nauczaniu Prymasa Tysiąclecia dotyczącemu uzasadnieniu pobożności maryjnej, następną roli pobożności maryjnej w drodze do komunii z Bogiem, a ostatnią wypowiedziom Księdza Prymasa podkreślającym znaczenie maryjnej pobożności w realizowaniu przykazania miłości bliźniego. Temat zrealizowano poddając analizie ponad 3000 wypowiedzi Sługi Bożego skierowanych do członkiń świeckiego Instytutu Pomocnic Maryi Jasnogórskiej, Matki Kościoła. Przeprowadzone badania upoważniają m.in. do stwierdzenia, iż związanie życia z Maryją sprzyja osobistemu uświęceniu i prowadzi do czynnej miłości bliźniego, a w ten sposób przyczynia się do budowania komunii z ludźmi.The article describes the teaching of the Primate of the Millennium on Marian piety in the context of her role in a person's way to communion with God and men. The study is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the teaching of the Primate of the Millennium on the justification of Marian piety, the second part concerns the role of Marian piety in a person's way to communion with God, and the third part discusses the statements of Cardinal Wyszyński on the meaning of Marian piety in the realization of the commandment to love one's neighbor. The topic is presented through the analysis of over 3000 statements of the Servant of God which he addressed to the members of the lay Institute of the Helpers of Mary of Jasna Góra Mother of the Church.
