Poddane analizie metafory pojęciowe (ROWERZYSTA TO PILOT, A R OWER TO SAMOLOT i JAZDA NA ROWERZE TO JEDZENIE) pozwalają zrekonstruować fragment językowego obrazu świata zawartego w omawianej odmianie języka i wskazać na sposób jego ustrukturyzowania.(The Linguistic Image of the World Expressed by Conceptual Metaphors from the Area of the Bike Sociolect). The author attempts to describe a section of the group imagination of the users of Polish bike slang in which the linguistic activity of cyclists and their environment is analysed using the idea of conceptual metaphors.
