Z artykułu wynika także, że obecność Austrii w strukturach Unii Europejskiej wzbudza dyskusje, bywa kłopotliwa i wymusza potrzebę tworzenia rozwiązań prawnych oraz podejmowania decyzji politycznych, które przyczynią się do omijania raf w funkcjonowaniu UE.The author discusses the reasons for the integration of Austria with the European Community/European Union, primarily emphasizing political issues. Applying the criteria of chronology and different issues, she discusses the most important stages and matters that were decisive in the process of Austria’s accession to the EU. The specific situation of this state followed from its geopolitical position and neutral status. These factors determined the negotiation process.
