The rivers are located in mountain (Raba), highland (Kamienna), lowland (Bzura) and lakeland (Pisa) areas. The number of hydrological seasons identified in the examined group of rivers equals 11. There are 4 seasons in each of the rivers. Each season may occur more than once a year in the studied river. Therefore, the number of occurrences of seasons varies from 9 to 19.
