Material produced during the process of photointerpretation established the basis for further comparative analysis of land-use changes in the year 1998, which means before motorway existed and in 2007, when motorway was fully operational. GIS tools were used for analysis of land-use changes and development dynamics between 1941 and 2007 in the zone of the motorway. Incorporated method allowed to perform spatial statistics of land-use transformations.
