Zaprezentowano wybrane definicje coachingu, ujmując go na tle innych form rozwoju pracowników, oraz wielość istniejących szkół i odmian coachingu. Ukazano jego różne formy i możliwości ich zastosowania w bibliotece, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem coachingu menedżerskiego.
