Znamierowski's reflections on authority revealed that his works contributed greately to tidying up the foreground of the theory of authority. His comprehensive use of the term „authority" points out to the traces of sociological, behavioral and normative approach to that phenomenon in his writings. Authority has been analysed as a social relation appearing in the situation when some are able to impose their will on others, supporting themselves by force and compulsion, or persuasion and ascendency. Authority has also been analysed as a relation within which the ruler grants competence to the third person to undertake a conventional act through which the subject's duties are being concretized or actualized. Analysing the state authority, Znamierowski concentrated his considerations on the analysis of model properties and dependencies of rulers and subjects, formulating at the time some indications as to their attitudes and behaviours.polinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCzesława Znamierowskiego myśli o władzyCzesław Znamierowski's reflections on authorityArtykuł
