Jej cele obejmują identyfikację założeń polityki w zakresie dostępności przestrzeni turystycznej dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami, identyfikację praktyk zwiększających dostępność przestrzeni turystycznej oraz rozwiązań zwiększających tę dostępność w Polsce. Oprócz tego praca ma również cel metodyczny, którym jest stworzenie katalogu kryteriów oceny dostępności przestrzeni turystycznej dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami, który 1) będzie narzędziem autoewaluacji dla gestorów obiektów turystycznych 2) wesprze proces poprawy uniwersalności oraz jakości oferty turystycznej. W aspekcie teoretycznym praca dostarcza rekomendacji w zakresie tworzenia modelu dostępności przestrzeni turystycznej. W badaniach zastosowano metody takie jak desk research, inwentaryzacja, metoda ekspertów oraz metoda wywiadu. Wyniki wskazują na potrzebę usystematyzowania kwestii związanych z dostępnością oraz współpracy pomiędzy interesariuszami przy wypracowywaniu kryteriów oceny dostępności, aby w tej ocenie uwzględniać elementy kluczowe i istotne.This dissertation examines the accessibility of tourism space for people with disabilities. Its objectives include the identification of policy assumptions concerning the accessibility of tourist space for people with disabilities, the identification of practices that improve the accessibility of tourist space and solutions that improve the accessibility in Poland. The work also has a methodological aim of creating a catalog of criteria for evaluating the accessibility of tourist space for people with disabilities, which 1) will be a tool for self-evaluation by managers of tourist facilities 2) will support the process of improving the universality and quality of the tourist offer. In the theoretical aspect the paper provides recommendations for the creation of a model of tourist space accessibility. The methods used in this study include desk research, inventory, expert method and interview method.
