I pose questions about the extent to which the humiliation mechanism is present at the contemporary Polish school and what the consequences of experiencing "being humiliated" are for students. It is supported with the result of my own research into school assessment, in particular the situation of oral testing and marking pupils' conduct with a grade from the perspective of junior high school students.plinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshumiliationschool assessmentjunior high schoolupokorzenieocenianie szkolneUpokorzenie ucznia przez nauczyciela jako jeden z mechanizmów oceniania szkolnegoHumiliation of the pupil by the teacher as one of the mechanisms of school assessmentArtykułhttps://doi.org/10.15290/parezja.2014.02.07
