The main purpose of this movement is to render support for agricultural activity of farmers on the basis of cooperation and mutual help. Agricultural cooperatives in the EEC countries comprise more than half of purchasing and food-processing activity as well as more than half of export and supplies of goods and services to agricultural regions.
