Praca składa się z sześciu rozdziałów. Pierwszy zatytułowany został „Historia Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu w latach 1953-1962”. Ukazano w nim historię Uniwersytetu w latach 1918-1962. Drugi z rozdziałów zatytułowany „Rzeczywistość historyczno-społeczna w latach 1953-1962” poświęcony został przedstawieniu tła społeczno-politycznego ukazującego szereg procesów kształtujących ówczesne społeczeństwo. W trzecim rozdziale „Wydział Filozoficzno-Historyczny w latach 1953-1962” omówiono strukturę i władze Wydziału. Kolejną część pracy zatytułowaną ,,Studenci Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego w świetle obowiązującego prawodawstwa” poświęcono na szczegółowy opis przepisów prawnych dotyczących studentów Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego. Rozdział piąty ,,Studenci Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego w latach 1953-1962 w świetle zachowanych źródeł” dotyczył przedstawienia obrazu studentów Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego, jaki wyłonił się z analizowanego materiału źródłowego. W ostatnim z rozdziałów pt. ,,Studenci Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego w ujęciu statystycznym” posłużono się licznymi autorskimi tabelami, a otrzymane wyniki badań wzbogacono opisem i komentarzem. The main research goal of the work is to obtain a demographic and social picture of students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History in the years 1953-1962 in the context of the “thaw” and to establish the actual time frame of this phenomenon within the Faculty of Philosophy and History. The work consists of six chapters. The first one was titled “History of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań in the years 1953-1962”, it presents the history of the University in the years 1918-1962. The second chapter entitled “Historical and social reality in the years 1953-1962” is devoted to presenting the socio-political background showing a number of processes shaping society at that time. The third chapter, “The Faculty of Philosophy and History in the years 1953-1962”, discusses the structure and authorities of the Faculty. The next part of the work entitled “Students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History in the light of applicable legislation” was devoted to a detailed description of legal provisions relating to students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History. Chapter five, “Students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History in the years 1953-1962 in the light of preserved sources” is a presentation of the image of students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History that emerged from the analyzed source material. In the last chapter entitled “Students of the Faculty of Philosophy and History from a statistical perspective” numerous author’s tables were used, and the obtained research results are enriched with descriptions and comments.plstudenciodwilż’’Uniwersytet im.
