Available statistical information (the Chief Central Statistical Office) has been used for this purpose in the scope of population's natural movement according to social and professional features in the years 1960 -1976. A category of 'labour activity' (besides farming) has bean used as a more useful one in analysis of women's professional activation than 'category of professional activity', that also concerns working in agriculture. Labour activity is connected with working women's disengagement from a household. Women in particular groups of reproductive age, mostly married women, who bore children in particular years, were subjected to observation. It was observed during the analysis, that there existed a process of women's professional activation (besides farming) in the years 1960 -1976, independent of demographic processes.polinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTrendy aktywności zawodowej matek w Polsce Ludowej w latach 1960 - 1975Trends in Mothers' Professional Activity in the People's Poland in the Years 1960 -1975Artykuł
