Preppers are people who's life credo is to be prepared for every potential disaster, accident or even a total collapse of civilization. The latter might be regarded as the most important element of the prepper's world view, which includes the visions of Apocalypse in its core structure. This paper deals with the problem of the prepper world view and social praxis in the American context, as well with the phenomena of EDC (Every Day Carry) enthusiasts and all kinds of survivalists. The article attempts also to present how modern day millenarism is being translated into terms of consumption and culture, instead of traditional religious terms.plpreppersedcmillenaryzmprotestantyzm amerykańskinowe ruchy religijnearmaggedonkultura konsumpcyjnasurwiwalizmPreppersi, EDC i nowy millenaryzmArtykuł
