Punktem wyjścia dla przeprowadzonych analiz jest określenie determinant rozwoju refleksji logicznej w Indiach oraz zestawienie ich z analogicznym procesem, który miał miejsce w Starożytnej Grecji. Natomiast w części poświęconej analizie lingwistycznej zbadano, jak specyfika sanskryckich środków językowych używanych w buddyjskich schematach rozumowania: negacji, partykuły eva oraz związku między tezą i racją wyrażanym w ablatywie wpłynęła na specyfikę oraz strukturę logiczną buddyjskich propozycji. Do analiz używamy semantyki pozostającej w zgodzie z buddyjskimi założeniami ontologicznymi – logikę fikcji J. Paśniczka. Schematy rozumowania opisujemy w kategoriach współczesnej teorii argumentacji M. Tokarza.The aim of the PhD dissertation is to elaborate a method of interpretation of Indian Buddhist logic consistent with its philosophical context and specificity of Sanskrit language in which the theory was formulated. The thesis consists of two complementary parts. The first one aims at the reconstruction of the main determinants of the development of logical reflection in India and their collation with the parallel process that took place in Ancient Greece. In the second one the logical structure of Buddhist ideas is analysed in accordance with some features of Sanskrit language, to wit: the use of negation, semantics of particle eva, and the logico-epistemic features of ablative case in which the relation between the thesis and the reason was expressed. As a result the semantics based on J. Paśniczek's logic of fiction is proposed as the representation of the meaning of the syntactic categories. Moreover, Buddhist logical ideas are interpreted in accordance with M.
