The author analyses the weekly news magazines “Ukrainskyi Tyzhden,” “Focus,” “Korrespondent” and the “Kommentarii” newspaper in 2012. Particular attention is given to the subjects of the publications. The position of the Ukrainian mass media is important in improving bilateral relations.
