Pracy badawczej towarzyszą trzy główne cele: 1) rekonstrukcja przemian w obrębie studiowanych relacji w kontekście europejskim w perspektywie uwarunkowań historycznych i współczesnych; 2) uporządkowanie i rozwinięcie koncepcji interdyscyplinarności; 3) identyfikacja, usystematyzowanie oraz analiza współczesnych form współdziałania pomiędzy sztuką i naukami społecznymi. Rozprawa składa się z dwóch części: teoretycznej i empirycznej. Część teoretyczna obejmuje: 1) rekonstrukcję historycznych porządków społecznych; 2) opis koncepcji interdyscyplinarności; 3) analizę „interdyscyplinarnych” predyspozycji i strategii wpisujących się w logiki działania nauk społecznych oraz współczesnej sztuki; 4) problematykę współczesnych kontekstów interdyscyplinarnych związków między nimi; 5) analizę stanu badań na temat przedsięwzięć łączących sztukę i nauki społeczne. Na część empiryczną składa się: 6) omówienie metodologii badań empirycznych oraz przebieg badania CAWI; 7) przedstawienie wyników badań dotyczących specyfiki przedsięwzięć łączących sztukę i nauki społeczne; 8) analiza motywacji towarzyszących autorom projektów oraz problemów i ograniczeń, na jakie ich działania napotykają; 9) opis modeli multi- inter- i transdyscyplinarnej współpracy występujących w badanych projektach.The main research problem of my dissertation is the nature of the relationship between contemporary art and social sciences. The research has three objectives: 1) to reconstruct transformations within the studied relationship in the European context from a historical and contemporary perspective; 2) to investigate the development of the concept of interdisciplinarity; 3) to identify, systematise and analyse contemporary practices at the intersection of art and social sciences. The dissertation is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical.
