Life on an exile, constant separation, longing and also uncertainty of what was left behind and what is yet to come – are in Kryl’s way a framework of existential issues shaping his songs. The article’s aim is also to point other theme dominants of songwriter’s creation, which allow him to articulate a full range of feelings – in its complicated multidimensionality, still with a clear presence of emptiness, loneliness, homelessness.polinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCzech literaturebardsongsKarel Kryl»Válka je holka moje«.
