PENTASEMY OF THE TERM ‘NORM’
Abstract
Autor bada odniesienia przedmiotowe terminu „norma”. Termin „norma” ma pięć znaczeń. Po pierwsze – termin „norma” oznacza „zdanie deontyczne”; po drugie – termin „norma” oznacza „sąd deontyczny”; po trzecie – termin „norma” oznacza „wypowiedź deontyczną”; po czwarte – termin „norma” oznacza „stan rzeczy deontyczny” i po piąte – termin „norma” oznacza „noemat deontyczny”.
In this paper the author investigates the semantics of the term ‘norm’. The term ‘norm’ is pentasemic. First, the term ‘norm’ means “deontic sentence”; second, the term ‘norm’ means “deontic proposition”; third, the term ‘norm’ means “deontic utterance”; fourth, the term ‘norm’ means “deontic state-of-affairs”; fifth, the term ‘norm’ means “deontic noema”.
