| dc.description.abstract | The paper presents an assemblage of Renaissance stove tiles with an image of the so-called shield-bearer, excavated at Ostrów Tumski, Poznań. The coats of arms pictured on panels represent noble houses of Poznań and Wielkopolska. The attempt has been made to refer them to particular persons dwelling on the cathedral island, where the tiles were used in the construction of ceramic stoves. | pl_PL |
