Item Motywy i warunki rozwoju rzemiosła(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1980) Graszewicz, HenrykThe author presents the place and role of handicraft in economy and gives reasons to its development. Co-existence of different works when size, subject and way of production taken into account is indispensable in a rational scheme of economic relations. Differentiation of human needs then calls for adequate forms of supply ensuring social and economic effectiveness of the economy. Works of individual handicraft possess the most advantageous economic and organizational conditions especially in the sphere of services under conditions of dispersed demand. Handicraft can favour a better satisfaction of population needs in definite spheres of economic activity in a socialist economy, too. Activities of handicraft have been embraced within the frames of planned economy since 1975. It was decided in 1976, basing on decisions of political and administrative authorities, to accelerate the development of handicraft using its potential above all for living services as well as for individualized production. Realizing the tasks, however, it is necessary to increase material and technical equipment, to render place accessible and to gain new cadres. Therefore, a closer handicrafts integration with the whole social economy in a horizontal structure is advisable.Item Pojęcie i miejsce rzemiosła w gospodarce narodowej(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1973) Graszewicz, HenrykAn attempt of full and precise definition of handicraft irrespective of place and time encounter difficulties not to surmount. To define the idea handicraft contemporary theoreticians point to three essential characteristics: great differentiation of activities, close relation between the producer and products and decentralization of localization. The law criterions define handicraft as a separate national economy, but they differ in other countries and exclude comparison. Elasticity and effectiveness of activities, as well as ability of single, specialistic and individualized production assign handicraft range of activity which lies hehind interest of industry. Handicraft however has profitable economic and organizational conditions to perform effective services. Those characteristics create prosperous prospects for development because coexistence of different size enterprises various and lines of production in modern economy is indispensable. Place and role of handicraft in national economy depend to a great extent on ideologic and political maturity and civis attitude of the handrierafts men. Individual property of production means should be featured as social function and be used according to the social interest. The state estimates the role of handicraft in efficient performance of economy and supporting its development in the limits defined by law and by economic policy proceeds to a fuller integration with the whole national economy for a better fulfilment of the pepole's needs.
