Item Fenomen „młodych pisarzy” w literaturze włoskiej końca XX wieku(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2016) Kornacka, BarbaraThe book entitled the “Phenomenon of young writers in Italian literature of the 20th century” discusses a contentious issue in Italian literature. The definition of this trend draws on three meanings of the word young; related to chronological age, professional experience and subject matter. The 1980s generation of young writers emerged as a response to the literary stagnation of the previous decade and in the context of postmodernism. Publishing houses played an important role through promoting young literary debuts in the first half of the decade (Tondelli, De Carlo, Del Giudice, Busi), and later the rich prose of young writers of the late-1980s. Pier Vittorio Tondelli was of great importance for the young writers of the 1990s, as were the regular meetings of literary circles in Reggio Emilia. The young prose of the 1990s can be characterised by the thematization of youth, multimedia contaminations and motifs derived from the pulp genre. Also visible are other peripheral trends, which extend beyond the time frame of the 20th century.Item La percezione disturbata e le sue conseguenze in «Almost blue» di Carlo Lucarelli(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2008) Kornacka, BarbaraDistorted Perception and its Consequences in «Almost Blue», a Novel by Carlo Lucarelli is an article which deals with an analysis and description of the three main characters from the perspective of their sensory perception of reality. In each analysed case the main characters' experiences are distorted (damaged, misinterpreted) due to blindness, mental disease or Premenstrual Syndrome. The distorted sensory perception affects their contact with reality and their understanding of certain phenomena. Their individual human corporality changes the sense of reality.Item „Mundus inversus" ossia sui principi carnevaleschi nella pubblicità televisiva italiana(Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, 2005) Kornacka, BarbaraCarnival rules in Bakhtin's understanding as a system of inversions of the hierarchy of rules concerning the most varied aspects of life and culture is a key to comprehend the texts and pictures of Italian TV advertisement of the 1990s which appears as an element of carnivalization of modern Italian culture. Mésalliance and family relationships between people, values and concepts which are distant from one another in the hierarchy, profanations and lowering present themselves in advertisements as examples of carnival inversions on the vertical axis. However, the topsy-turvy world is a polar inversion on the inside-outside axis. Masks and travesties covering the reality mean directing to the inside what is usually outside. Eccentric behavior and attitudes determine a reverse direction of polar carnival inversions, however ambivalent pictures make distant semantic fields close. Carnivalization of Italian TV advertisement confirms a thesis about carnivalization of postmodern culture.Item Sulla simbiosi spazio-corporea all’esempio di „Treno di panna” e „Tecniche”(2012-05-30T08:53:19Z) Kornacka, BarbaraThe article About the Symbiosis of the Space and the body on the example of „Treno di panna” and „Tecniche di seduzione” by Andrea De Carlo is the analysis of space related to physicality in two novels by a contemporary Italian writer. An animate body expressing emotions and succumbing to the influences of the milieu’s moods becomes engaged in bilateral relations with space; the body integrates with it as well as interferes in it, exceeding its own spatial constraints. The article is also a suggestion to read contemporary Italian prose through the prism of the theory of a German neophenomenologist Hermann Schmitz. The most important issues of Schmitz’s theory are presented and illustrated from the literary perspective: the notion of the Lieb i.e. the body which is alive, dynamic and perceives; the notion of feelings seen as atmospheres which are spatial feelings; and the concept of the living space. The analyzed examples illustrate the compatibility of the Italian writer’s literary intuition with the newest philosophical theories.Item Un silenzio molto profumato - alcune riflessioni sul romanzo „La lunga vita di Marianna Ucrìa " di Dacia Maraini(Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, 2007) Kornacka, BarbaraThe article devoted to novel La lunga vita di Marianna Ucrìa of Dacia Maraini constitutes a reflection upon cognition by means of senses. The analysis concerns the experience of cognition of the world (people, situations, places) by the main character, deaf and dumb person, whose sensual cognition of the reality is dominated by the sense of sight and smell. The analysis concentrates on the character of smelling sensations, indicating their crucial but forgotten function of the contact with the reality and its interpretation. The article highlights the problem of non verbality and non-divisibility of perceptions of the sense of smell, which the author of the novel Dacia Maraini faced.
