dc.description.abstract | This article discusses the experiences over the past years at Poznań University Library in implementing modem organizational solutions to create customized working environment. The Library is housed in a hundred-year-old building and its old architectural structure makes it impossible to introduce radical and innovative spatial and architectural solutions. Despite the limitations imposed by the structure of the workshop environment, the management o f the Library makes every possible effort to minimize the existing constraints and barriers in collection, services and, primarily, human resources management. The article presents planned and already implemented solutions concerning, first of all, staff management issues in relation to the organizational structure o f the Library and the changes and adaptations introduced to the building’s space. | pl_PL |
