The present thesis is devoted to the analysis of mycological lexis, in particular in light of the complex approach to researching the names of mushrooms in the modern Russian language. The author of the work scrutinizes the names of mushrooms in the etymological, structural, lexical, functional and semantic, as well as comparative approaches. The thesis also includes the analysis of lexical and semantic phenomena within the scope of the defined theme group of words (synonymy and homonymy). In addition, the author touches upon word formation models according to which the names of mushrooms are created in the modern Russian language. Moreover, the thesis contains the word formation and functional analysis of Russian names of mushrooms along with the comparative analysis of Polish and other Slavic languages within the realm of the relevant vocabulary.pl_PL
