| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the paper is the analysis of Alfred Marshall’s position in Methodenstreit (Battle over Methods). The founder of contemporary economics was often critical of the Austrian school whose approach become representative to mainstream economics. This analysis allows to draw some conclusions and postulates for contemporary economics.
