| dc.description.abstract | The article studies unofficial Brno urbanonimes (on the basis of the same names in Warsaw and Poznan). The empirical part of the research material constitutes 265 unofficial names of urban space objects excerpted from lexicographical sources and from web portals. The collected material represents three types of urban space objects that are represented by a different number of urbanonimes. The formation of the aforementioned toponyms requires a (limited) set of word-formation processes, such as univerbation, foreign lexicon borrowings, elliptical constructions and metaphorical transfers. | pl |
