Podmiot filozofujący a podmiot generyczny w filozofii Alaina Badiou

Abstract

Zasadniczym celem artykułu jest próba uzupełnienia koncepcji podmiotu generycznego zaproponowanej przez Alaina Badiou na gruncie materialistycznej dialektyki o koncepcję podmiotu filozofującego, którego aktywność z jednej strony znacznie różni się od działalności podmiotu generycznego, a z drugiej – jest z nią zbieżna. Podstawą dla zarysowania wspomnianej koncepcji jest rekonstrukcja metafilozofii francuskiego filozofa, będącej zarazem zakładanym horyzontem filozoficznym, jak i egzemplifikacją działalności intelektualnej tego filozofa. W wyniku przeprowadzonej refleksji okazuje się, że podmiot filozofujący stanowi niezbędny aspekt człowieka w jego drodze ku pełni życia.

The primary aim of this article is to attempt to supplement Alain Badiou’s concept of the generic subject, proposed within the framework of materialist dialectic, with a concept of the philosophizing subject, whose activity, on the one hand, significantly differs from that of the generic subject, and on the other hand, converges with it. The basis for outlining this concept is a reconstruction of the French philosopher’s metaphilosophy, which serves both as the assumed philosophical horizon and as an exemplification of the philosopher’s intellectual activity. As a result of this reflection, it becomes clear that the philosophizing subject constitutes a necessary aspect of humanity’s journey toward the fullness of life.
