Kosmopolityzm w teorii kwantowego postmodernizmu. Nowa perspektywa badawcza w nauce o stosunkach międzynarodowych

Abstract

Głównym celem rozprawy jest wszechstronne przedstawienie i uzasadnienie nowej perspektywy badawczej (kwantowej) w nauce o stosunkach międzynarodowych oraz stworzenie narzędzia badawczego za pomocą którego można wyjaśniać współczesne zjawiska i procesy międzynarodowe. Jest to próba rekonceptualizacji założeń teoretycznych kosmopolityzmu i postmodernizmu oraz nadania im nowych walorów poznawczych, a także aplikacyjnych. Wobec istniejących w literaturze przedmiotu poważnych niedostatków w omawianej materii, ważnym celem rozprawy jest zebranie i usystematyzowanie materiału dotyczącego zestawienia kosmopolityzmu z postmodernizmem. Rozprawa stanowić ma wkład teoretyczny w dyskurs nad współczesnymi wyzwaniami nauki o stosunkach międzynarodowych. Jest to proces usystematyzowania i ugruntowanie omawianej materii na gruncie dotychczasowych ustaleń paradygmatycznych teorii stosunków międzynarodowych oraz dokonanie rozstrzygnięć terminologicznych w tym zakresie. Rozprawa jest także próbą zwrócenia uwagi na znaczenie procesu metaforyzacji w wyjaśnianiu i tłumaczeniu współczesnych stosunków międzynarodowych ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem metaforyki kwantowej. Ważnym aspektem jest ukazanie niebezpośredniego wpływu rewolucji kwantowej na kształtowanie się nauk społecznych, a w szczególności nauki o stosunkach międzynarodowych. The main objective of the dissertation is a comprehensive presentation and grounds of a new research perspective (quantum) in International Relations Theory and the development of research tools that can be used to explain the phenomena and processes of contemporary international relations. It is an attempt of conceptualization theoretical assumptions of cosmopolitanism and post-modernism, and gives them new cognitive advantages and applications. In view of the existing literature on the subject of serious shortcomings in this matter, an important objective of the dissertation is to collect and systematize issue on the statement of cosmopolitanism with postmodernism. The dissertation is a theoretical contribution to the discourse on contemporary challenges of International Relations. It is a process to systematize and consolidate the basis of previous findings paradigmatic theory of international relations and terminology. The dissertation is also an attempt to draw attention to the importance of metaphors in explaining the process and the translation of contemporary international relations, with particular emphasis on quantum metaphors. An important aspect is to show the impact and influence on the formation of the quantum revolution in the social sciences, especially in international relations.
