Item Analiza towarowa polskiego eksportu rolniczego w latach 1956—1966(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1968) Tetzlaw, JerzyThis article examines the dynamic changes in Polish export by means of absolute changes and structural shares which embrace commodity groups. A discussion of the latter necessitates connecting them with the shaping of export of more important agricultural commodities. This is done by the degree of representativeness which is simultaneously the degree of concentration. The latter characterizes the elasticity in adjusting exported bulk commodities to market conditions., In characterizing this elasticity the dependence between the shaping of structural shares in commodity export and their unitary value in export, may be of use as an orientation indicator.Item Ceny mięsa na rynku światowym i ich wpływ na polski eksport(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1966) Dietl, Jerzy; Tetzlaw, JerzyThe prices of beef and cattle on the markets of Italy and Western Germany were analyzed in this paper over the period of 1950—1964. This analysis constitutes a basis for determining the prospects of the development up to 1970. The nominal and real prices were taken into consideration. There is a reasonable rising tendency for cattle prices on the Italian market. This market shows a considerable increase of demand for beef. The production has a rising tendency which will be maintained probably over the next years. These reasons and the advancing integration process of the Common Market are limiting to some extent the possibilities of Polish export. However, this export will have a chance to develop under the condition of further improvement of its quality. The rising price tendency has also been observed in Western Germany, but it is much slower than in Italy. The Western Germany's market sets higher requirements, offers lower prices and presents potentially a lower import demand for cattle and beef. However, at the same time this market is less vulnerable to downward price movements. Thus, it may present an aditional outlet for Polish cattle and beef export.Item O zagadnieniu wzrostu gospodarczego(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1960) Tetzlaw, JerzyItem Polski import rolniczy w układzie towarowym w latach 1956 - 1967(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1970) Tetzlaw, JerzyThe analysis of the agricultural import to Poland in the years 1956 -1967 is difficult considering the variety of groups of goods that require different treatment. In the mass of imported agricultural products, taken as a whole, there stand apart products that cannot be produced in the climatic and soil conditions of our agriculture and products that are imported at present but in future can be produced by our agriculture in sufficient quantities. The basical position in the agricultural import until 1964 had the agricultural and food products. Since that time the participation of these products has shown a distinct decreasing tendency. In the whole of the examined period the participation of ready agricultural and food products increases. On the formation of size of the agricultural import influence considerably the needs of home market. The analysis of the Polish agricultural import deals as well with the phenomena as e. g. the assortment structure of import in groups and import of more important agricultural products. The structure of goods of the Polish agricultural import is changing. It becomes closer connected with the configuration of productive and consumptive home demands. This process is connected with definite changes in the structure of agricultural economy.Item Pozycja polskiego eksportu rolno-spożywczego do krajów EWG(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1964) Tetzlaw, JerzyItem Produkcja rolna i eksport rolno-spożywczy(Wydział Prawa i Administracji UAM, 1967) Tetzlaw, JerzyThe development of agricultural export depends on home and foreign markets demand as well as on increase of agricultural production. In the analysed period of years of 1956—1965 that export showed signs of development. Despite some set-backs its structural share in the whole of export was getting larger. The rate of increase in foreign exchange earnings due to agricultural exports has been faster than that caused by foreign exchange expenditures on import of goods, which could be produced by Polish agriculture and in that context quicker than the growing import of grain. The main source of revenues from the agricultural export constitutes the export of highly processed foodstuffs.
