Bohemistyka jest czasopismem filologicznym, które prezentuje prace naukowe dotyczące języka i literatury czeskiej. Czasopismo zawiera następujące działy:
1. Dział naukowy, gdzie będą informacje o aktualnym stanie i dorobku naukowo-badawczym bohemistyki oraz gdzie będą zamieszczane artykuły z dziedziny literaturoznawstwa i językoznawstwa czeskiego, także prace komparatystyczne.
2. Dział recenzji, omówień i not, w którym znajdą się informacje o książkach bohemistycznych, ukazujących się na czeskim, polskim i światowym rynku wydawniczym. Ułatwi to odbiorcy szybszą orientację w nowościach, dlatego treść czasopisma będą uzupełniać: przegląd krytyczny ruchu wydawniczego, przegląd nowości oraz omówienia prac naukowych.
3. Dział kronikarski, w którym chciałbym informować czytelników o ośrodkach bohemistycznych w świecie, jubileuszach czeskich i światowych bohemistów, konferencjach naukowych poświęconych problematyce języka i literatury czeskiej etc., informacje pożyteczne i możliwie pełne. Będą tu zamieszczane także sprawozdania z konferencji naukowych, artykuły rocznicowe i jubileuszowe polskich i światowych bohemistów, a także sprawozdania z działalności instytucji i organizacji bohemistycznych w świecie.

Bohemistyka is a journal of philology, which presents the research work related to the Czech language and literature. The magazine contains the following sections:
1. Scientific section, with information on current scientific-research output in the field of bohemistic, and with articles on Czech literary studies and linguistics, together with comparative works.
2. Review and report section with information concerning books on bohemistic that appear on the Czech, Polish and world market. It will surely help the readers with being up-to-date with all novelties. For this purpose we will also supplement the magazine with critical review of what is going on in the publishing market, the reviews of the novelties and reports on scientific researches.
3. Annalistic section in which I would like to include complete and useful information concerning bohemistic centers in the world, jubilees of Czech and world bohemists, scientific conferences devoted to the issues of Czech literature and language etc. This section will also run the reports from conferences, articles on anniversaries and jubilees of Polish and world bohemists, and also reports on bohemistic institutions and organizations all over the world.
