Abstract
W pierwszej części artykułu autor zastanowia się nad pytaniem, dlaczego historia najnowsza związana jest z problemem „gorącej” historii – budzącej namiętne polityczne i ideowe spory. Następnie broni tezy, że historia najnowsza Niemiec dodatkowo dręczona jest przez ten „palący problem” z powodu Trzeciej Rzeszy. Po trzecie zaś, autor argumentuje, że wizja dokonania na nowo periodyzacji i „europeizacji” najnowszej historii Niemiec, można postrzegać jako próbę ostatecznego zdystansowania się wobec Trzeciej. Rzeszy. Po czwarte i ostatnie, autor przedstawia wyjaśnienie faktu, dlaczego Trzecia Rzesza po sześćdziesięciu latach nadal jest obecna w historii najnowszej Niemiec.
The article consists of the following parts; in the first phase I will reflect on the question why recent history is actually related to the problem of „hot” history. Then I would like to defend the thesis that the latest history of Germany is additionally tortured by this „burning problem” because of the Third Reich. Thirdly, I will stand in defense of the view that the two present visions of periodization and Europeanization of the recent history of Germany may be perceived as an attempt to finally distance itself from the Third Reich. Fourthly and lastly I would like to present an explanation of the quite significant fact that the Third Reich is still, after sixty years, unimaginably present in the recent history of Germany.
