dc.description.abstractEuropean policy makers’ emphasis on the need to promote multilingualism and pluralingualism is often seen as “vital to harmonious engagement between peoples and languages”. Cultural tourism and cultural industry are seen as activities (and economies) which have the capacity to promote this engagement and intercultural communication.
