| dc.description.abstract | W niniejszej pracy podjęto próbę przeanalizowania obrazu twórczości austriackiej pisarski Marlene Streeruwitz pod kątem stosowanej przez nią dekonstrukcji materii językowej na przykładzie powieści Verführungen. oraz Partygirl. z perspektywy deskryptywnych badań nad przekładem. Głównym celem badania było nakreślenie procesu podejmowania decyzji przez tłumaczki, a także opisanie strategii tłumaczenia i porównanie ich między sobą. Metodologia wybrana do niniejszego badania to deskryptywne podejście do tłumaczenia, które wykrystalizowało się w wyniku „zwrotu kulturowego” i zakłada kompleksowe uwzględnienie tekstu źródłowego i docelowego w ich kontekstach kulturowych. Celem niniejszej pracy było zbadanie, czy program literacki Marlene Streeruwitz znalazł swoje odzwierciedlenie w polskim przekładzie powieści Verführungen. i Partygirl. Przanalizowano więc, czy tłumaczki Agnieszka Kowaluk i Emilia Bielicka rozpoznały cechy dystynktywne języka pisarki i czy ich decyzje tłumaczeniowe odpowiadają estetycznym wymaganiom Streeruwitz i jej programowi poetologicznemu. Celem pracy było dostarczenie poręcznych narzędzi analitycznych oraz kluczy interpretacji prozy Streeruwitz, a następnie kontrastywna analiza wybranych fragmentów powieści Verführungen oraz Partygirl. | pl_PL |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis is an attempt to analyse the works of Austrian writer, Marlene Streeruwitz, from the perspective of deconstruction of language using the example of novels such as Verführungen. and Partygirl., with the approach of Descriptive Translation Studies. The main objective of the study was to delineate the translators’ decisionmaking process as well as to describe the translation strategies and compare them with each other. The achievements of DTS have provided answers to the questions posed in the thesis. The methodology chosen for this study is a descriptive approach to the translator that has been developed as a result of the cultural turn and implies a comprehensive consideration of the source and target texts in their cultural contexts. As part of the analysis, I have examined whether the translations of Streeruwitz’s novels respected the writer’s individual style and if the translatory solutions adopted by the translators Kowaluk and Bielicka meet the esthetical requirements of her poetologic method. The aim of my thesis was to provide useful analytical tools for Streeruwitz’s prose, to offer a contrastive analysis of selected fragments of her novels and to check which approach to translation is favoured by Bielicka and Kowaluk. | pl_PL |
