Abstract
In this paper the author concentrates on the problem of the occurrence of clay plates within
the region of the Polish Lowland. The sources are findings known from the literature as well as those
excavated recently. Comparative analyses related territorially to Europe and chronologically to the
period 4400-3800 BC.
