Abstract

Autor przedstawia próbę opisu wycinka grupowej wyobraźni użytkowników socjolektu rowerowego, w której działalność językowa rowerzystów i środowiska kolarskiego jest analizowana przez pryzmat teorii metafory konceptualnej. Poddane analizie metafory pojęciowe (ROWERZYSTA TO PILOT, A R OWER TO SAMOLOT i JAZDA NA ROWERZE TO JEDZENIE) pozwalają zrekonstruować fragment językowego obrazu świata zawartego w omawianej odmianie języka i wskazać na sposób jego ustrukturyzowania.
(The Linguistic Image of the World Expressed by Conceptual Metaphors from the Area of the Bike Sociolect). The author attempts to describe a section of the group imagination of the users of Polish bike slang in which the linguistic activity of cyclists and their environment is analysed using the idea of conceptual metaphors. The studied metaphors (A BIKER IS A PILOT AND A BIKE IS A PLANE and RIDING A BIKE IS EAT ING) allow to reconstruct a part of the linguistic image of the world comprised in this variety and show the way it is structured.
