Nowa Polska – nowa kultura – nowa historia. Przeszłość jako przedmiot propagandy w okresie PRL-u

Abstract

Praca przedstawia problem wykorzystywania przeszłości do celów propagandowych. Koncentruje się na propagandzie systemowej, która dobrze dokumentuje działa władzy w okresie PRL-u. Zagadnienia omówione zostały w oparciu o kanały przekazu, które nadzorowane były przez partię jak: kino, telewizja, prasa, edukacja szkolna. Ponadto w pracy autorka porusza zjawisko kształtowania się ośrodków propagandy opozycyjnej. Ujawniały się one głównie w momentach tzw. „odwilży” oraz eskalacji nastrojów społecznych. Autorka dowodzi budowy wizji nowej Polski, kultury i historii poprzez przekaz propagandy, która wykorzystywała przeszłość. Praca omawia na jakich płaszczyznach władza budowała te wizje oraz jakich środków używała – od próby rozliczenia w wojną poprzez nowe stosunki wewnętrzne i zagraniczne aż po wychowania nowego obywatela.

The thesis presents the problem of using the past for propaganda purposes. It focuses on systemic propaganda, which documents well the activites of the comunist regime. The issues from from the thesis were discussed on the basis of transmission channels, which were overseen by the party like: cinema, television, press, and school education. In addition, the author discusses the phenomenon of the formation of opposition propaganda centers. They revealed mainly at the time of the so-called „thaw” and the escalation of the people’s moods. The author proves the building of the vision of a new Poland, culture and history through the propaganda message that used the past. The thesis discusses what levels the authoritiest built these visions on and what means they used – from the attempt to settle the war through new internal and foreign relations to the upbringing of a new citizen.
