Husyckie wojska polne. Kształt i organizacja armii

Abstract

Praca stanowi próbę analizy całokształtu aspektów składających się na kształt i organizację husyckich wojsk polnych, wystawianych przez taborytów i sierotki w trakcie wojen husyckich (1419-1436). Sposób realizacji podjętej tematyki, zbliżony jest do układu prac historyczno-wojskowych zaproponowanych przez Benona Miśkiewicza oraz prac husytologicznych Františka Šmahela, Miloslava Polívki, Jiřího Juroka i Petra Čorneja, tak więc szczególny nacisk położony został na kwestię związane z powstaniem i działalnością wojsk polnych. Uwzględnione zostały takie aspekty, jak przemiany organizacyjne w wojskach husyckich, wykształcenie się wojsk polnych, teoretyczne podstawy prowadzenia działań wojennych oraz ich zastosowanie w praktyce. Ponadto omówiony został skład społeczny i pochodzenie geograficzne żołnierzy występujących w przekazach źródłowych. Celem pracy jest próba rozwinięcia badań historyków czeskich w zakresie struktur polityczno-społecznych w związku taboryckim i sierotek, które przekładały się na działalność wojsk polnych w latach 1427-1434 i próba określenia charakteru tej działalności. This dissertation is an attempt to analyze the conditions influencing the military structures and organization of the Taborite and Orphan field armies, during the Hussite Wars (ca. 1419-1436). The treatment of this subject is similar to one found in the military history works proposed by Benon Miśkiewicz, and works concerned with the history of Hussite movement by authors such as František Šmahel, Miloslav Polívka, Jiří Jurok and Petr Čornej, and therefore special emphasis was placed on the creation and campaigns of these armies. Themes such as evolutions in the organizational structure, the theoretical foundations, as well as practice of strategy and tactics, were additionally taken into account. Furthermore, social background and nationality of the soldiers was also analyzed. The aim of the work is to develop and elaborate on the issues addressed by aforementioned authors on the subject of social and political structures in the Taborite and Orphan Unions, which influenced the activities of the field armies between 1427-1434, and an attempt to determine the nature of these forces.
