Abstract
Artykuł potwierdza ogromny wpływ jaki Stany Zjednoczone Ameryki Północnej wywarły w początkach XX wieku na Kubę. Analiza przeszłych wydarzeń pozwala wyjaśnić aktualną sytuację polityczną Kuby oraz jej stosunek do USA. Ogromna liczba Kubańczyków mieszkających w USA (szczególnie na Florydzie) jest dobitnym przykładem nierozerwalnych więzi kubańsko-amerykanskich. Celem artykułu jest analiza współczesnych relacji między rewolucyjnymi rządami braci Castro a amerykańskimi prezydentami od 1959 r. Badania oparte są w głównej mierze na źródłach obcojęzycznych, książkach i artykułach pochodzących z prasy hiszpańskiej. Ponadto autorka analizuje i podejmuje w tekście problemy polityczne i militarne jakie zachodziły między USA a Kubą. Artykuł odpowiada na pytania: jaka jest polityczna rola Stanów Zjednoczonych w XXI wieku na Kubie oraz jakie są aktualne relacje pomiędzy krajami?
The article contains selected problems confirming a huge influence the United States of America in the beginning of 20th century on the actual history of Cuba. The purpose of the article is a presentation the cooperation existing between revolutionary government of brothers Castro and selected presidents of the USA. The analysis of the past events is allowed to explain what is the actual relation of American people from the USA to Cubans and the other way round. The subject is important in relation to lawful, military, economic, social and international. The researchers are mainly based on the sources, Cuban and American books and articles from press. The text also explains and sets off political and military conflict between the USA and Cuba. The article answers the questions: what is a political role of the States in 21st century in Cuba and what are the actual relations and interactions?
